Types of Eye Disease and its Prevention





There are several eye diseases that can lead to blindness, so called by the disease to be harmful and should be avoided by maintaining eye health. There are also some minor eye disease but can be fatal if not treated immediately. To prevent the onset of these diseases certainly we should always keep your eyes healthy with a regular and routine so that it can be avoided. Eyes are the windows of the heart causes a reflection of our souls. The eyes are also prone to diseases that would let us see some of the diseases that can affect the eyes, the following list:

1. Blindness, is a condition in which visual perception is reduced due to physical factors as well as neurology, which ended with a loss of vision. 
Blindness can not be treated only with glasses / contact lenses only. Blindness is divided into two parts, namely partial and complete. Partial blindness is the blindness that has a limited view. Complete blindness is blindness can not see at all. This blindness can occur suddenly. Blindness can occur for several reasons, which are: 
 
- An accident or injury on the surface of the eye,  
- Diabetes,  
- Glaucoma, which refers to the state of the eye that causes damage to the nerves of vision,  
- Macular degeneration, an eye disorder that slowly can lower acuity and central vision, making it difficult to perform a detailed vision such as reading and writing.

Along with the rapid advancement of the medical world, blindness can be cured with steroid implants, namely by injecting anti-inflammatory drugs in the area near the retina. But the cost is very expensive. Here are some tips to avoid blindness, such as: wearing sunglasses in order to avoid UV rays, apply a healthy lifestyle, consumption of foods that contain lots of vitamin A, eyes tested on a regular basis if it has reached the age of 35 years, to be more careful in using the lens 
contacts.

2. Cataract, is a condition in which there is a cloudiness in the lens of the eye that may result from the addition of hydrated lens or lens fluid and protein denaturation. Turbidity usually affects both eyes and run progressive / may not change at all in the long term. Generally cataract is an eye disease that strikes the elderly. But it could also be due to Congenital abnormalities or commonly referred to as chronic eye disease.

3. Farsightedness, which is the opposite of nearsightedness. Signs of having the disease when the eye is nearsighted by using a convex lens is too round or too long will eye. disease nearsighted eye is the inability of a person to remotely view, the image produced by the eye will fall right in front of the retina. People who experience farsightedness can use the glasses that negative or concave lens. Concave lens useful for putting back the right shade dititik retina, so that the eye can see objects far enough. People who have offspring parents miopa patients, less nutritious food intake, has a bad habit to see objects close distances.

4.
